The �౦��Ϸ���� Board of Directors has adopted an amendment to Part 303 of the �౦��Ϸ����'s Rules and Regulations relating to the new Case Manager Program, which has realigned regional office responsibilities of the Division of Supervision (DOS) and the Division of Compliance and Consumer Affairs (DCA) (see FIL-31-97 , dated April 10, 1997). The program is designed to streamline the �౦��Ϸ����'s supervision process and simplify communication channels with insured institutions.

The amendment to Part 303 redefines "appropriate �౦��Ϸ���� regional office" and other related terms contained in Part 303 to change how the �౦��Ϸ���� designates the appropriate regional office for purposes of filing applications, requests, submittals, and notices. Under the Case Manager Program, DOS and DCA now supervise groups of related insured institutions from one �౦��Ϸ���� regional office. DOS and DCA previously supervised or monitored insured institutions from the �౦��Ϸ���� region in which the institution was located. Supervisory matters affected by the amendment are limited to determining which �౦��Ϸ���� regional office is responsible for processing applications and administrative actions.
