On January 9, 2002, the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) amended its listing of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons by adding four new names of specially designated global terrorists. Their assets must be blocked immediately.

Attached is a copy of the OFAC bulletin announcing the additions and information from OFAC containing all changes to the list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons since January 1, 2002. For your convenience, a copy of the "Master List" of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons containing entries through December 31, 2001, is also attached. Please retain the "Master List" for future reference. OFAC has asked that we distribute the information to all �౦��Ϸ����-supervised institutions so records can be checked for accounts that are required to be blocked. OFAC information also may be found on the Internet at .
