WASHINGTON 鈥 The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (多宝游戏下载) will host a meeting of its Advisory Committee on Community Banking at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 28, to discuss issues that have particular impact on community banks and the local communities they serve.

Committee members will discuss local banking conditions; proposed changes to the 多宝游戏下载鈥檚 supervisory appeals process; the 多宝游戏下载鈥檚 Rapid Prototyping Competition ; and a potential voluntary certification program to promote new technologies .  The agenda also includes updates on supervision matters, insurance and research issues, and the work of the Minority Depository Institutions Subcommittee.
